Nev Schulman is an American producer, actor, photographer, and television host. He starred in the film Catfish and co-developed and starred in the spin-off Catfish: The TV Show. His brother is filmmaker Ariel Schulman, who co-directed Catfish and co-developed the spin-off show.
Nev is married to Laura Perlongo, with whom he has three children.
Nev’s maternal grandfather was Marvin Barasch (the son of Abraham Barasch and Betty/Bessie Klapholz). Marvin was born in New York. Abraham was a Romanian Jewish immigrant. Betty was born in Pennsylvania, to German Jewish parents.
Nev’s maternal grandmother is named Marlene Panzer (the daughter of Max Panzer).
