Inga Cadranel is a Canadian actress.

Inga is the daughter of actors and directors Maja Ardal and Jeff Braunstein. She has a brother, Paul, who is also an actor. Her father was born in Cairo, Egypt, to a Jewish family of Ashkenazi and Sephardi descent. Her mother was born in Siglufjörður, Iceland, and raised in Scotland.

Inga is married to actor Gabriel Hogan, with whom she has a son.

Inga’s paternal grandfather was Arie “Harry” Braunstein (the son of Yankel Braunstein and Betty Solomon). Yankel was born in Romania. Betty was from Bessarabia.

Inga’s paternal grandmother was named Riquette Cadranel. Riquette was born in Smyrna, now İzmir, Turkey.

Inga’s maternal grandfather was philosopher Páll Steinþórsson Árdal (the son of Steinþór Pálsson Árdal and Hallfríður Hannesdóttir). Páll was born in Iceland. Steinþór was the son of poet, playwright, and school teacher Pall J. Árdal.

Inga’s maternal grandmother was Harpa Ásgrímsdóttir (the daughter of Ásgrímur Pétursson and María Guðmundsdóttir). Harpa was born in Akureyri, Iceland.
